1. Acceptance
By signing in to or using the ARTIS Law House practice-management system (the "System") you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the System.
2. Who may use the System
The System is for authorised users only: partners, advocates and staff of ARTIS Law House (the "Firm") and people the Firm invites, such as clients given panel access. Access is personal and is granted, changed or withdrawn by the Firm at any time. Using the System without authorisation is prohibited and may be an offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
3. Your account and sign-in
- Keep your password and sign-in codes secret and do not share your account with anyone.
- Use a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
- Tell the Firm at once if you suspect someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
4. Confidentiality and privilege
Everything in the System is confidential to the Firm and its clients and may be legally privileged. Do not copy, download, print, forward or disclose any information except as your work for the Firm requires, and keep any copies secure. These obligations continue after your access ends.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- try to reach data, matters or areas you have not been given access to;
- share, sell or publish information from the System outside the Firm's work;
- upload malicious software, or content you have no right to use;
- probe, scan or test the System's security, or interfere with its availability, without the Firm's written permission;
- use automated tools to copy data from the System;
- use the System for any unlawful purpose.
6. Documents and content you add
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and upload, and for having the right to upload it. Content you add for the Firm's work belongs to the Firm.
7. Ownership
All matters, documents and other data in the System belong to the Firm. The System's software is provided by Nuvena Systems Private Limited under a separate agreement with the Firm. Nothing in these terms gives users any right to the software beyond using it for the Firm's work.
8. Monitoring and audit
To protect clients and the Firm, use of the System is logged. Access to confidential records is recorded and may be reviewed by the Firm.
9. Availability and changes
The System is provided to support the Firm's work. It may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond reasonable control, and features may change. Keep your own copies of anything you must not lose.
10. No legal advice
Information shown by the System โ including case status and dates taken from court websites โ is a working aid and may be incomplete or delayed. Always confirm important dates and orders against official sources.
11. Suspension and termination
The Firm may suspend or end any user's access at any time, for example on leaving the Firm or on a breach of these terms. Your confidentiality obligations continue afterwards.
12. Limitation
To the extent the law allows, neither the Firm nor Nuvena is liable to users for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the System. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Privacy
How personal data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction over the Firm's principal office will have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
15. Changes to these terms
The Firm may update these terms. Changes will appear on this page with a new date, and continued use of the System means you accept them.
